The Sony Ericsoon K850i is a sleek stylish phone with a five megapixel Cyber-shot camera for superb still and video performance. It has a slider switch that toggles between the shooting modes and playback function rather than having to access an on-screen menu to change from stills to motion images.
You can choose different image sizes quality settings and shooting modes. There is 16 x digital zoom autofocus a built-in Xenon flash and an on-board accelerometer (keeping pictures in the correct orientation regardless of whether you are looking at it from a portrait or landscape perspective). There is also an automatic clear plastic protective lens cover. You can even capture nine consecutive shots simply by pressing the capture key once enabling you to captures the most successful photo with the BestPicT feature. You can then edit and improve them with integral software.
The K850i comes with a media manager software CD in the start up kit which allows you to manage and transfer music photo and video files easily. The media player comes with a selection of music features enabling you to get the very best youre your mobile music experience. The music features include PlayNowT which is a quick music download feature while the TrackIDT feature is a music recognition tool.
The K850is dimensions are 102 x 48 x 17 mm weighing a solid but comfortable 118g. It is a quad-band device so can roam seamlessly between the worlds networks. It has a front-facing camera for 3G video calls. There is a healthy 40MB of internal memory supplemented by a memory card slot that accepts both Memory Stick Micro and microSD card types. It has an integral music player and FM radio organizer functions Track ID Video/Photo/Music DJ voice recorder RSS feed reader Web browser and triband HSDPA connectivity.
